Star Bharat has always brought to the fore, the best portrayals when it comes to mythological shows. Given that, there is an obvious increase in appetite to consume their unique bouquet of content. To add to that list, they’ve come up with another mythological show called Haathi Ghoda Paal Ki Jai Kanhaiya Laal Ki’. The show rightly captures the essence of Bal Krishna, the adorable little butter thief and his legendary stories. Brace yourself to go on a divine mythological journey with the show, produced by none other than Siddharth Kumar Tewary starting on the 19th of October at 9.30PM on Star Bharat.

The show revolves around the age old tales of Bal Krishna and the stories of why he was so respected and adored. Among the many talented actors on the show, the one playing Kans (Arpit Ranka) was recently blessed with a baby girl. In a recent press conference, he was seen speaking of how difficult it is to play a brutal character like Kans, being a father to an infant in real life. Being exactly opposite to the character he plays on the show, it can naturally get quite tasking to play Kans.

Speaking coherently about his struggles with regards to that, Arpit says, “Nothing can be as cruel as harming or being mean to a child so yes, playing a character like Kans on screen gets extremely difficult. It is the worst. But if I focus too much on the negatives of a character, I will never be able to do complete justice to the role I am playing as an actor. Hence, I prefer not to sweat too much over such things and not let my attention slip in that regard.

He further adds, “I am very grateful to the whole team of Star Bharat and the makers of the show for handing me this amazing opportunity and I hope to do total justice to it. I also hope for the audiences to accept my art of acting, if not essentially love the ruthless character.”

Arpit Ranka playing Kans on the show, being of a completely contrasting personality to his on screen personality in real life, is what makes him an even better actor. Playing such a complicated character and coming out shining each time is a talent not everybody possesses and therefore, we are all extremely excited to see how he does on screen.
