New York City mayor targets homeless encampments


In a scene that has become increasingly common in New York, police dismantle a homeless encampment but none of the people there agree to relocating into a shelter, fearing such places are dangerous. While anti-eviction campaigners boo and a massive police presence looks on as the site is emptied, sanitation workers dump blue tents and piles of clothes, blankets and rubbish into a dumpster.
