Even as she served as a campaign surrogate for her father Donald Trump, White House adviser Ivanka Trump has remained silent on efforts to contest the election results. However, her recent social media post regarding the outgoing president was met with backlash from netizens.
Ivanka took to Twitter to share a photo of her father lined up along the faces of prominent presidents on Mount Rushmore. The photo was taken during Trump’s campaign rallies during Independence Day, and his face was lined up next to the depictions of Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt.

However, her photo was both mocked and praised by users on the platform. One user pointed out that with the exception of Trump, the previous presidents had won reelections. Another user responded that it is embarrassing to compare Trump to the previous presidents. However, the photo was also praised by her father’s supporters, with one user commenting that Trump deserves a place on the historic landmark. Another user also responded with an edited picture that showed her father included among the famous faces.
Trump has previously mused the idea of being included on the monument that was completed in 1941. At the same time, he blasted a report by the New York Times that the White House actually contacted South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem about what was needed in order to add Trump’s face on the monument. Adding another face to Mount Rushmore is considered impossible due to the structure of the rock.
With her days as White House adviser numbered, Ivanka and her husband, fellow White House adviser Jared Kushner, are reportedly already looking at other locations to relocate to. The couple is said to have purchased a plot of land worth $31 million on an island off the coast of Miami referred to as “Billionaire’s Bunker” because of the many high-profile residents it used to have. The land was previously owned by singer Julio Iglesias.
According to a source via Page Six, the couple will both maintain a residence in Miami as well as their home in New York.
